Out here..we have a saying....here's yout sign.. you can be standing on the side of the road..with a flat, and someone may walk up to you and say.."got a flat tire?" "nope", "bought that way"....HERE'S YOUR SIGN! well here's to signs.....of a different nature....
Hi, Debbie! I like your signs! I could really use a few of them!
How exciting that you go to James River! My sister and her family went there for a while. It's an awesome church! John Lindell(sp?) is a wonderful pastor and excellent preacher, also.
You asked about some soothing songs. I just searched Playlist until I found some I really liked. I believe that I searched several ways. One thing I did was search with words, such as, "classical," "instrumental," "symphony," etc. I also looked for songs from movies - Anne of Green Gables, Pride & Prejudice, etc. And, finally, I searched with artists' names. I hope this helps you. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
I hope you have a wonderful Thursday! Take care, and many, many blessings to you.
Thank you much I am learning to play with it...never thought of classical...oh well, I put some on that was touching in so way...for now. Yesy I love James River..John is still there and gong strong...I believe in the power of prayer. Thank you so much for writting me back, it made my day...

Have you ever cried a tear for someone you did not know?
Have you ever had a tear, for someone you did not know? A hurt inside your soul that ached for another human being unknown to you? If we can do that, and who are we? How much more did Jesus weep tears of sorrow for us? Remember "HIM" this weekend for" HE DID" die for you and for me, Good Friday .....it's not the end of the story
DR. KEITH W. HUBBELL SPOT..though he is gone...his words live on.
"THE BODY OF EVIDENCE GROWS ALMOST DAILY, YET EVERY PERSON HAS TO LEARN THE LESSON OF HIMSELF: WE ARE WHAT WE THINK. SOUR DISPOSITIONS CREATE NOT ONLY SICK SOULS BUT ALSO SICK BODIES. FEELINGS OF WORTHLESSNESS. BITTER RESENTMENT AND SELF PITTY DIMINISH US TO FRAGMENTS. A POSSESSIVE NATURE, SELF-INDULGENCE, SELF PROTECTIVENESS, AND SELF-CENTEREDNESS SHRIVEL THE SOUL,CREATE DYASFUNCTIONS WITHIN US, DISTORT PERCEPTION, BLUR PERSPECTIVE, AND PREVENT ANY HEALING WE NEED. THE OPPOSITE OF THIS IS ALSO TRUE. THOSE WHO FILL THEIR MINDS WITH POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS, WHO CONCENTRATE ON THE NOBLE VIRTUES THAT MAKE LIFE MEANINGFUL, SET THE STAGE FOR HEALING AND MAKE POSSIBLE THE WHOLENESS THAT GOD'S DESIGN FOR ALL. TWO THOUSAND YEARS BEFORE PSYCHOLOGISTS WERE TEACHING THIS TRUTH, PAUL DISCOVERED IT'S POWER. "meditate on these things". he said-things that are noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report. WE ARE WHAT WE THINK.
God love them....................
were I hear baby cry...there be milk near by......
Thanks for coming by......hope to see you again! God Bless you!
For six years I called and comforted a preacher’s widow my cousin Linda . Day after day I walked her thru the memories of her youth over the phone. It was there in the past where we grew up and there were we shared the mysteries of our childhood. She watch her husband die a slow death with a smile on his face, for he knew where he was going. She moved to be near her mother after loosing her brother and husband in the same month. Soon her mother died and she was left with her sister in law, both grieving widows found comfort in each other. Then one day she dies as well. Linda, now alone and lonely filling empty, has to fulfill the wishes of her dead sister-in-law. Even in her own death the job was yet unfinished. Linda would do anything to please everyone, she was quite, sweet and soft spoken. I loved her and told her everyday over the phone. We spend time together everyday, shared gifts and much laughter, we shared many tears together and bonded. Love hurts when it comes to an end…specially when you loose and very dear friend,
LIFE IS NOT A JOURNEY...IT'S A RIDE...............
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving there safely in a pretty and well preserved body but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up and proclaiming "WOW, what a ride"!!!
The sweetest thing you will ever know.....
Because He loved you and me 1st
It happens everytime I try to eat my lunch at my naptime....
